Launch your psychology career with a 100% online MSc Psychology

Our BPS-accredited MSc Psychology course is designed both for people looking for a career in psychology, and for individuals who want to learn about psychology for personal interest or to advance existing careers. You will gain knowledge of psychology which can be applied in a variety of life situations and job roles.

You will cover topics such as autism, wellbeing, addiction, relationships, ageing, and leadership. Assessment methods on the course include case study work, research reports, audiovisual presentations, collaborative work, mixed media portfolios, and critical reflections.

You will emerge with a substantial foundation in psychology, well-suited for opportunities in teaching, social services, human resources, management, and more. If you achieve the threshold grade for accreditation, the course provides the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological society, allowing you to start training for chartered psychology professions such as clinical, forensic, educational, organisational, or counselling psychology.

What will you study?

Some modules focus on using the core approaches to psychology (such as social or cognitive psychology) to explore the diversity of human behaviour and experience, while others take an integrated approach, applying a 360-degree psychological perspective to real-world issues (such as anxiety, eating disorders, and violence).

The course offers a unique approach where research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, are embedded into the teaching of module topics, so that you can see their purpose.  This approach prepares you with a well-rounded set of both research and practical application skills you can put to good use in your final independent project.
