If you are based in the UK, you may be eligible for a government-backed postgraduate loan to cover the full costs of the course.
In addition, if you have successfully completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Sunderland, you are eligible for a 10% tuition fees reduction on our postgraduate programmes.
You pay tuition fees for each module taken, either module-by-module (excludes BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing (Blended)) or in full at the start of your course.
You should be prepared to pay for additional items such as textbooks and PC equipment in order to complete your studies.
The University of Sunderland reviews its tuition fees for new and continuing students on its Sunderland Online provision prior to the beginning of each academic year, and, as outlined in our offer letter, fees may increase by up to 3% for continuing students. A number of factors are taken into account when reviewing our fees, including inflationary measures such as the retail price indices and projected increases in University costs.
For the academic year 2024/5, fees will increase by 3% across all programmes . The fees will only increase for any payments made after 1 August 2024. Any payments made prior to this date will remain at the 2023/4 fee level, even if you use them to register on modules in subsequent academic years.
