Alumni discount
Students who have completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Sunderland will be eligible for 10% tuition fee discount.
The Alumni Discount is not applicable to the BSc Adult Nursing programmes.
Fee increases
The University of Sunderland reviews its tuition fees for new and continuing students on its Sunderland Online provision prior to the beginning of each academic year, and, as outlined in our offer letter, fees may increase by up to 3% for continuing students. A number of factors are considered when reviewing our fees, including inflationary measures such as the retail price indices and projected increases in university costs.
Fees will increase by 3% across all programmes for the 2026/27 academic year. The fees will only increase for any payments made after 1 August 2026. Any payments made prior to this date will be paid at the 2025/26 rate, even if you are paying for modules to be studied in subsequent academic years.
