In all modules, you will have formative assessments midway through your modules to help develop and review your understanding and knowledge, which will be assessed in your final summative assessments at the end of the module.

Summative assessments contribute towards your overall mark and these assignments are designed to allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the learning outcomes developed during your studies. Formative assessments are a tool used to help with your learning and development, but do not contribute to your final module mark. You will receive feedback on your formative and summative assessments, which are tailored to your individual work, identifying what you have done well, what you can improve on and what you can carry forward to improve for future assignments.

PAD (Practice Assessment Document) will monitor and assess your placements to ensure you meet all required competencies to successfully complete the placement module.
