Admission requirements

Online MBA courses

Applicants must be of age 19 and above and should have or be about to complete:
  • At least a UK 2.2 undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience
or
  • A UK Masters degree (or international equivalent) plus a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience
or
  • A third-class Honours degree or an ​Ordinary degree (without Honours) or UK equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ appropriate work experience
or
  • Applicants who do not hold a recognised degree will be asked to provide evidence which demonstrates a minimum of 3 years’ relevant organisational experience

    The work experience must be at a graduate level, in either a managerial or professional capacity which may include voluntary work, placements, internships, project management etc

Online MSc courses (Excludes MSc Nursing Studies)

Applicants must be of age 19 and above and should have or be about to complete:
  • At least a UK 2.2 undergraduate degree or a UK Masters degree (or international equivalent)
or
  • A third-class Honours degree or an ​Ordinary degree (without Honours) or UK equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 2 years appropriate work experience
  • The work experience must be at a graduate level, in either a managerial or professional capacity which may include voluntary work, placements, internships, project management etc
or
  • Applicants who do not hold a recognised degree will be asked to provide evidence which demonstrates a minimum of three years’ relevant organisational experience

Online LLM courses

Applicants must be of age 19 and above and should have or be about to complete:
  • At least a UK 2.2 undergraduate degree
or
  • A UK Masters degree (or international equivalent)
or
  • Third-class or Ordinary undergraduate degree (without Honours) or UK equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of 2 years appropriate work experience
or
  • Applicants who do not hold a recognised degree will be asked to provide evidence which demonstrates a minimum of three years’ relevant organisational experience

    The work experience must be at a graduate level, in either a managerial or professional capacity which may include voluntary work, placements, internships, project management etc.

Online Psychology degrees

Applicants must be of age 19 and above and should have or be about to complete:
  • At least a UK 2.2 undergraduate degree of a UK masters degree in any subject (or international equivalent).
  • This course is designed to be a conversion course for those who do not already hold the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society. The course is therefore not suitable if you have already achieved a BPS-accredited honours degree in Psychology.

MSc Nursing Studies

You will need to be:
  • Registered with NMC or equivalent
and have:
  • At least a UK 2.2 undergraduate honours degree or UK Masters degree (or international equivalent)
or
  • A third-class or UK ordinary degree with 18 months relevant work experience.
This programme does not lead to NMC registration or to qualification as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies Top-Up

You will need to be a registered nurse (in any field) and hold a Higher Education Diploma Level Nursing qualification.

We accept students who have studied a certified Nursing course leading to the award of Registered Nurse, and for international Registered Nurses who also hold a Licence to Practice.

This course does not lead to NMC registration and is not suitable for Nursing Associates.

BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing (Blended)

Our typical offer is 120 UCAS points from a minimum of two A Levels or equivalent, which should preferably include a Health or Science related subject. Please note we do not accept General Studies AS or A Level.

We also require at least five passes at GCSE grade C or above which must include Mathematics and English Language or equivalent. If you have studied for a GCSE which has a numerical grade then you will need to achieve a grade 4 or above.

If you meet these requirements, then your application will be individually assessed by the Adult Nursing Admissions Tutor and if successful you will be shortlisted for an online interview which will assess your values, problem solving and communication skills.

Medical assessments of your mental and physical health and disclosure of criminal convictions apply to all nursing courses and are based on current NMC requirements. Nurses are registered health care professionals and the ability to practise safely, effectively and professionally is essential, so all applicants are required to follow our fitness to practise procedures.

You will be expected to demonstrate digital competency prior to commencing the programme.

This course is open to Home UK applicants only.

English Language Requirements (excluding BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing (Blended)):
If English isn’t your first language you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability.

We accept the following qualifications:
  • IELTS 6.0 + minimum 5.5 in each component
  • Pearson Test of English Academic no less than 59 in each component
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Grade C or above
  • O-Level English Language or GCSE English Language Grade C or above (UK Exam Board) Malaysian SPM 1119 Grade 6 or above
  • Trinity Integrated Skills in English (ISE) II: Merit or Distinction
  • Duolingo – minimum overall score of 90
  • Degree which has been fully taught and assessed in English
