Fee increases
All programmes (except blended Adult Nursing)
The University of Sunderland reviews its tuition fees for new and continuing students on its Sunderland Online provision prior to the beginning of each academic year, and, as outlined in our offer letter, fees may increase by up to 3% for continuing students. A number of factors are considered when reviewing our fees, including inflationary measures such as the retail price indices and projected increases in university costs.
Fees will increase by 3% across all programmes for the 2025/26 academic year. The fees will only increase for any payments made after 1 August 2025. Any payments made prior to this date will be paid at the 2024/25 rate, even if you are paying for modules to be studied in subsequent academic years.
BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing (Blended) programmes only
In line with an increase in the undergraduate tuition fee cap in England, the fees for our BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing Blended programmes will increase to £9,535 per year. The new fee will apply to all students starting or continuing their studies in the 2025/26 academic year.
